Area Contents Policy

Essentials

  • All static placeables will be converted to environmental objects and traced with a walkmesh cutter. The only exceptions to this rule are static placeables that are strategically used to block ranged attacks or line of sight.
  • All other objects that are a part of that area will have a unique tag with the area identifier, with some exceptions
    • Groups that are meant to be used in a loop with the same tag, the tag can be shared but must include the area identifier
    • Objects meant to be used in multiple areas or across modules will follow the module level naming conventions for blueprints, see Blueprint Naming Conventions
